The Steve Buck/Hardy Bush Memorial Golf Tournament is dedicated to the memory of two community servants that helped shape education in New Hope. The proceeds from the tournament go directly to scholarships for New Hope-Solebury High School students.

Steven Buck was a beloved teacher, coach and mentor to hundreds of students in the New Hope-Solebury school district. His guidance was instrumental for students becoming successful adults that gave back to the community.

Hardy Bush was tireless community activist that supported the school district, the historical society and the town at large. He was president of the New Hope-Solebury Board of Education for 9 years, where he helped shape the curriculum and championed the new middle school building project.

Both men passed before their time, yet they still had a lasting impact on the town and its citizens. The legacy that Steven Buck and Hardy Bush leave behind is the top-ranked school district and the continuing success of New Hope as a community.
